The intent of this blog is to provide a forum for Bremerton residents to converse on a range of issues relating to the Shoreline Master Program (SMP) update. It is City staff’s intent that discussions will focus on specific content relevant to the update. Staff intends to give general topics and discussion ideas, but does not intend to drive the discussion in any particular direction. Anyone is free to comment about update related topics, however please be aware that there are State guidelines regarding the update that must be complied with and cannot be changed. At a minimum the SMP must use scientific information; conform to State guidelines, and respect property rights. Please comment respectfully and responsibly.
